Popular Hollywood director Rob Reiner's son  Nick Reiner pleaded not guilty to the first-degree murder of his father and mother. In the court hearing, he came with his new lawyer, as his former high-profile lawyer withdrew for unknown reasons. The motive of the murder is yet unclear and the complete autopsy results are still pending. According to the initial reports, the couple were located at their residence with multiple sharp force injuries. The District Attorney is currently deciding whether to pursue the death penalty, and the next court hearing is scheduled for April 29 to see if there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.
